These are the alpha hydroxy acids along with retinoids (Retinol, Retinaldehyde, Retin-A). Glycolic acid removes the superficial skin layer composed of flattened, dry, rough cells which have concentrated amounts of pigment that account for most of the color of the face. In aging skin the distribution of colour is uneven and the colour yellowish. Removing these cells evens the color of the skin, softens or eliminates fine wrinkles, and increases luminosity. You look clean, bright, radiant, and younger. Customer satisfaction can be very good or it can be bad. It is lowest when you don’t need it that much. Since the effect is temporary, the treatment is expensive with respect to the time the effects last, which is 3-4 months if properly protected from the sun.
